We developed the Click-In function to be simple and intuitive, so activating and reloading will become second nature. Ozone Edge 2014 Ozone Contact Bar 2014 Ozone Edge Orange 2014. Our recently redesigned site highlights air quality in your local area first, while still providing air. In the same way fastening your seatbelt has become a natural action when getting into a car, riders should activate and reload their release systems before and after every use.Īlthough this important safety check is often overlooked, checking your release before each session will ensure it is functioning properly. The Ozone Edge was originally designed for big air and loads of hangtime - it excels. AirNow is your one-stop source for air quality data. What’s the first thing you do when you get in a car? You click in your seatbelt, hearing that ‘click’ sound makes you feel secure that you are safely buckled up, and you know instinctively how to release it.The design of our new release system, the Click-In Loop, is inspired by the same principle. ‘The Click-In Loop is a step in the right direction to making your kiting experience easier, wherever your adventures may take you…’ Design Inspiration The Click-In Loop is AFNOR NF S52-503 certified. A self-positioning release mechanism locates automatically, ready to be re-loaded by simply ‘clicking’ in the loop. The release handle fits comfortably in the hand, it is quick and easy to activate the release by pushing the handle away. Ozone Contact Bar FeaturesĪn all-new push-away quick release with an innovative one-step Click-In reload function that is incredibly intuitive. We recommend that all intermediate riders use the Edge before considering moving to a Chrono for light wind racing or free riding.A CLEAN AND SIMPLE DESIGN, WITH AN EASY-TO-USE TRIM SYSTEM AND FEATURING OUR LATEST INNOVATION – THE CLICK-IN LOOP. In gusty or turbulent wind the Edge will be easier to use and handle in both free ride and race situations. We have continued to develop larger Edge sizes as the Chrono is not for everyone or for all conditions. With new a 5m, 6m and 8m added to the already broad line-up of sizes this allows riders to choose exactly what they need in a regatta or for freeride mega boosting on those high wind days. The C4 has been around for a few years now and there are plenty of riders who love it the world over. Combined with our Race Control System and Race Flying Lines the Edge is the race winning ticket.įor this season we have developed new sizes expanding on the smaller kite range specially for lighter riders or Foil board racing. 31,617 Reviews Kites Ozone C4 2014 At A Glance The C4 is the freestyle orientated kite from Ozone it’s a 4-line, 5-strut machine with a very, very short bridle system. The bridles are spliced using high quality Aramid line, which is 50% thinner than our standard bridle line giving the Edge a turbo charged feel. A low-drag pulley-less bridle system is achieved through optimised load distribution into the kite attachment points. The new Edge is constructed with quality proven Teijin D2 canopy material and Teijin Dacron providing a crisper feel and a stronger kite. Additionally the optimised strut placement allows the wingtip to flex which reduces steering forces and speeds up handling. The new Edge feels and flies much smoother and is more controlled and stable during loaded riding and at high speeds. We have optimised panel layout and strut position resulting in a cleaner profile and canopy throughout angle of attack changes. What this means is we are able to work with parameters specifically designed to shaping flexible wings. The latest Edge has been completely re-shaped in our new highly advanced custom built CAD software. For racers this is directly translated into up and downwind performance as well as speed and power. For Freeriders it’s the way the Edge progressively pulls offering amazing power delivery and generous boost when you send it. What we found during this process is the combination of parameters that define the Edge are incredibly well matched to deliver performance across a broad spectrum. The development process of the Edge has been ongoing over the seasons with many prototypes, new ideas, and continuous learning for the design team.
